KALI YUGA (2021) - A 'one-man film' about a therapist under lockdown, correlated with the Hindu concept of 'Kali Yuga' - the last age of the Universe, where things decline and entropy prevails. It's meant to depict how artistic expression itself is in spiritual decline in the modern age.

Written, directed, performed, shot, and edited by Horia Dumitra. Meant to reflect the idea of 'quarantine art' (prior to Bo Burnham's Inside). Featured in the official selection of the 12th Underground Cinema Film Festival Dublin and QIFF: Quarantine International Film Festival 2021.

MINDFUL DIALECTICS (2021) - A 2-minute 'one-man film', authored solely by Horia Dumitra, intended as a 'lockdown film'. A dialectical experiment based entirely on a conversation between two characters: the Self and the Mind (personified as a jester).

EGO DEATH (2020) - A short metaphysical drama, shot on Super 16 mm film, about a man undergoing a mystical experience. Written, directed, filmed, and edited by Horia Dumitra. It was featured in the official selection of the Esoteric International Film Festival in 2021.

ZĂPADĂ GALBENĂ (En. YELLOW SNOW) (2009) - A 20-minute existentialist drama dealing with aimlessness, social decay, coming of age, and alienation in young people during the 2008 crash. Written, directed, and edited by Horia Dumitra. The film was shot digitally, in Bucharest, Romania. Its language is Romanian, but features English subtitles.

INCOGNITO (2006) - One of my first short films, full of heart. A short philosophical drama about the condition of the 'gifted individual' within society. Written, directed, and edited by Horia Dumitra. Shot in miniDV format, in Bucharest, Romania. Spoken language is Romanian, subtitles in English. It won Best Film at Reșița Film Festival in 2006.
